By subscribing to a maintenance plan with WebMaintenance.ie, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding between both parties and to provide a reliable and professional service.
1. Scope of Service
Our maintenance plans may include, but are not limited to:
Software updates (WordPress core, themes, and plugins)
Regular backups (daily or weekly, depending on your plan)
Uptime monitoring
Malware scanning and basic security measures
Performance checks and basic speed optimisation
SSL certificate monitoring
Minor content updates (as per plan limits)
Monthly reporting
A one-time on-page SEO check and optimisation for new sign-ups
The specific services provided depend on the selected plan (€19.99 or €39.99 per month). Custom or additional services are subject to separate agreements.
2. Content Updates
Each plan may include a set amount of minor updates per month (e.g., text edits, image replacements). These do not cover full redesigns, new page creations, or advanced development tasks. Unused update time does not carry over to subsequent months.
3. Client Responsibilities
To facilitate effective maintenance:
Clients must provide timely access to hosting accounts or website backends as required.
Clients confirm they have the rights to all content, files, and licences provided to WebMaintenance.ie.
4. Third-Party Software
WebMaintenance.ie is not responsible for third-party plugins, themes, or tools that become unsupported or discontinued. In such cases, we may recommend replacements or alternatives, which may incur additional costs.
5. Security & Backups
While we implement reasonable measures to secure your site and maintain regular backups, no website is entirely immune to threats. WebMaintenance.ie cannot be held liable for data loss, downtime, or damages caused by hacking, server issues, or third-party failures.
6. Hosting Plan Limitations
The €39.99/month maintenance plan includes hosting services for websites with a total size of up to 1GB. Websites exceeding this size limit are not eligible for hosting under this plan. Clients with larger websites will need to arrange for separate hosting services or discuss alternative solutions with WebMaintenance.ie.
7. Payment & Cancellation
Maintenance plans are billed monthly in advance.
Clients may cancel their plan at any time by providing 7 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.
Missed or failed payments may result in the suspension of services until payment is received.
8. Termination
WebMaintenance.ie reserves the right to terminate services if a website is deemed high-risk (e.g., outdated or unsupported software not updated despite notice) or if maintenance cannot be performed within our standard scope.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid for the maintenance service for the most recent 3-month period. We shall not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages.
